After high school, I attended the United States Air Force Academy, where I initially majored in mechanical engineering before discovering my true calling in dentistry. I later graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University with a degree in microbiology and went on to earn my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Medical University of South Carolina, where I also met my husband, Craig.
I practiced general dentistry for three years in Saint Paul, Minnesota, while Craig completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency. During that time, I felt inspired to combine my love of precision and artistry, which led me back to the University of Minnesota to complete my specialty training in orthodontics and earn a Master of Science degree. Today, I’m proud to be a board-certified orthodontist — a distinction that reflects my commitment to the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence. I continue to stay at the forefront of the field through ongoing research in orthodontic-surgical techniques and active involvement in professional organizations.
When I’m not creating beautiful smiles, you’ll often find me with my husband, our two children, and our Miniature Schnauzer, Piper. I’m an adventurer at heart who enjoys flying, reading, and training for triathlons. I also love skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving, and hiking — and I’m always looking forward to the next adventure!
